This International Nurses Day [12 May] we would like to give a big shout out to all the INF nurses who work to deliver professional and loving care to patients in all our clinics and hospitals.
We did a quick survey of our fabulous nurses working at the Green Pastures Hospital in Pokhara to find out what they loved best about their job and the general consensus was that the satisfaction of providing quality care was what they found most rewarding , closely followed by the joy of seeing a patient’s smile.
Today we smile too, a smile of thanks and appreciation for all that you do to provide quality nursing care for all INF patients – THANK YOU.
As much as we’d like to it’s not possible to introduce you to all of our amazing nursing staff but we would like you to meet a few of them:
Mahima is a self-confessed workaholic who enjoys one-on-one patient care and loves spending time at home with her family.
Kamala prides herself on developing good relationships with her patients and loves it when she can make them laugh.
Parbati enjoys offering individual care to each patient and likes to laugh at good jokes.
Salome loves seeing people going home in a better condition, not only physically but also mentally and spiritually. She also loves Nepali, Japanese, and Swiss food.
Vima intends to nurse for her whole professional career, she likes the social aspect of nursing and the opportunity to serve in a respected career.
Surakshya is a lover of food and music and derives much joy and satisfaction from her work, knowing that she has helped patients and had a positive impact on their lives.
Ranjita [left] likes it when she has time to talk with patients and sheepishly admitted she wishes she could sleep while on night duty. Parbati [right] enjoys working as part of the team and finds satisfaction in her patient’s cheerful faces while she is offering them care.
