Seven intrepid Australians made their way to Annapurna Base Camp as part of INF Australia’s 2019 Fundraising Trek. Proving that age is no barrier, the trekkers ranged from people in their ’20s, to people in their ’70s.
Inspired by the work they observed at Green Pastures Hospital and among INF’s community programmes, each trekker (Kate, Meryl, Clive, Steven, Jenny, Alice and Helen) participated in a personal fundraising challenge. We are delighted to announce that their efforts collectively raised more than $18,000 towards INF’s life-saving and life-transforming work.
“It was well organised and the entire trip far exceeded our expectations. It was an adventure we will never forget and God’s blessings were bountiful.”
INF Australia is developing exciting new plans around our fundraising trek and related programs. We’re exploring new trekking routes (for an even more magical experience of Nepal), more powerful personal and group fundraising tools and resources, and a stronger connection to people and communities who are supported by these efforts. We’ll share more soon.
There’ll be a fundraising trek in November 2020. Please note: the trek is organised from Australia, but is open to participants from all round the world.
