We invite applications from experienced professionals with an Electrical Engineering background to work as a Technical Advisor alongside Nepali engineers, supporting INF’s three health facilities and community-based services.
The role will involve providing technical expertise across a range of areas, including electrical system design and review, value engineering, supervision, quality assurance, design management, health and safety, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
All expatriate volunteers applying for an official visa require:
- A Master’s degree [or equivalent] in a relevant subject and at least five years of experience in a related field.
- The desire to combine their Christian faith and technical expertise to equip, encourage and strengthen the capacity of others.
- A good understanding of, and full commitment to, INF’s values and a passion for intercultural Christian service.
- Intercultural training/experience.
- A sending agency/organisation.
Even without relevant qualifications, there may be opportunities to serve in an advisory/training capacity for three months or less.
Please note that INF is unable to pay salaries to expatriate workers in Nepal.
