Structural Engineer

We invite applications from experienced professionals with an Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or Construction Management background to work as a Technical Advisor alongside Nepali engineers in supporting INF’s three health facilities and community-based services. Your involvement may range from providing value engineering, supervising, ensuring to maintain quality standard, design management, health & safety, and sustainability advice, to conducting needs analyses with clinicians, and advising INF senior management on staged hospital development, championing resilience in a disaster-prone context.

All expatriate volunteers applying for an official visa require:
  • A Master’s degree [or equivalent] in a relevant subject and at least five years of experience in a related field.
  • The desire to combine their Christian faith and technical expertise to equip, encourage and strengthen the capacity of others.
  • A good understanding of, and full commitment to, INF’s values and a passion for intercultural Christian service.
  • Intercultural training/experience.
  • A sending agency/organisation.

Even without relevant qualifications, there may be opportunities to serve in an advisory/training capacity for three months or less.
Please note that INF is unable to pay salaries to expatriate workers in Nepal.
